Mumbai Metro One to install solar panels on 12 stations, depot

Mumbai Metro One today announced installation of the rooftop solar panels on all 12 stations on the 11 km Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor, operated by it, as well as in depot area.

TetraPak Pledges 100% Renewable Energy By 2030

TetraPak, the world’s largest manufacturer of recyclable food and beverage packaging, has joined forces with RE100, “a collaborative, global initiative of influential businesses committed to 100% renewable electricity, working to massively increase demand for — and delivery of — renewable energy.” Today, about 20% of the electricity TetraPak uses in its manufacturing process comes from renewable sources. Daimler India expands solar power capacity to 3.3 Megawatts

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) has completed a major expansion of its solar power generation capacity, at the company's manufacturing plant located in Oragadam, near Chennai. Indian renewable energy firm Greenko says it has raised $230 million from ADIA, GIC

Greenko Energy Holdings, one of India's leading renewable energy firms, said on Tuesday it has secured $230 million in total new funds from an entity owned by the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA) and an affiliate of Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC.
