Green startup raises 1L euros from German investorAs interest in clean-energy solutions has captured the imagination of entrepreneurs and venture capitalists in the country, a Tumkur-based startup, ArstaEco Pvt Ltd, has raised 1,00,000 euros (Rs 77.8 lakh) from German investor Paul Guire. Founded by former Microsoft employee Shankar M K two years ago, ArstaEco converts agricultural waste into solid fuel (bio-charcoal) and synthetic fuel, which can power turbines and gas generators to produce clean energy.
