Moratorium extended on critically polluted industrial clustersThe environment ministry Tuesday announced that it will extend the moratorium on developmental projects in critically polluted industrial clusters till March next year. MP plant to help reduce CO2 emissions: LanxessChemical firm Lanxess India today said the company would be able to reduce about 95,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year following an investment of EUR 7 million for setting up a biomass fuel-based co-generation plant at its Nagda plant in Madhya Pradesh.
