India's telecom sector fueling emissionsIndia's telecommunications sector has emitted more than 5.6 million tons of greenhouse gas emissions since 2008, due to its heavy reliance on diesel for generating power, a new Greenpeace report says. Wind energy generation in Coimbatore dropsMost parts of the Coimbatore saw an additional half-an-hour load shedding on Monday and Tuesday as wind energy generation dropped.
